Federal safety regulators and Porsche Cars North America have issued multiple safety recalls warning owners to park their vehicles outdoors, away from garages and structures, and to limit charging to 80% maximum state-of-charge (SoC). These restrictions drastically reduce the usable electric range of a six-figure performance sports car, stripping owners of the high-performance driving capabilities and convenient home-charging utility they paid for. Furthermore, drivers report "Electrical System Fault" warnings, rapid battery degradation, and sudden loss of motive power at highway speeds.
