Scott Hirsch Law Group PLLC is currently investigating YETI Tundra hard-sided rotomolded coolers (including the Tundra 35, 45, 65, 75, Haul, and larger models) for defects relating to premature lid warping, bowing, and rubber gasket seal failures. A design, material, or manufacturing defect causes the heavy-duty cooler lids to permanently bow upward or deform, creating visible gaps along the rim and preventing the cooler from sealing evenly.

Owners Report Warped Lids, Broken Vacuum Seals, and Rapid Ice Melting

Consumers purchase YETI Tundra coolers specifically for their advertised commercial-grade insulation and multi-day ice retention capabilities. However, owners report that even after minimal or normal outdoor use, the lid permanently curls or bows upward at the corners or center.
