Jaguar Land Rover has previously acknowledged water intrusion as a cause of rearview camera failures in earlier Range Rover models, including through recalls affecting 2018–2022 vehicles and certain 2022–2023 Range Rovers. More recently, the manufacturer identified insufficient drainage around the rearview camera in the 2022–2026 Range Rover models, which can allow water to accumulate and damage the camera. These recurring concerns raise questions about the effectiveness of the manufacturer's previous corrective measures and whether affected vehicles may experience similar failures again.
