Zoe Traveler Stroller Tip-Over & Sudden Collapse Defect

Scott Hirsch Law Group PLLC is currently investigating Zoe Baby, Inc. regarding its popular lightweight travel stroller, the Zoe Traveler, for critical design and stability defects. Independent consumer safety testing and incident reports submitted to federal regulators indicate that the stroller suffers from severe rearward instability, causing it to suddenly tip backward while occupied, as well as unprompted frame latch failures that allow the stroller to unexpectedly collapse during use.

Parents Report Backward Tip-Overs, Frame Collapses, and Infant Injuries

Parents and caregivers purchase the Zoe Traveler expecting a lightweight, compact stroller capable of safely carrying children up to its advertised weight limit of 45 pounds. However, independent safety evaluations conducted by Consumer Reports revealed that the stroller repeatedly tipped backward during standard incline stability testing with stated occupant weight. In real-world conditions, parents report that minor weight shifts, gentle inclines, or walking on slight slopes cause the front wheels to lift into the air and the stroller to crash backward onto pavements, curbs, or hard flooring. Additionally, reports to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) cite folding mechanisms suddenly disengaging, causing the stroller frame to collapse on children strapped inside. These failures expose infants and toddlers to concussions, skull fractures, facial lacerations, and dental trauma.
